Omniture unveils new App for Facebook

App Measurement to assess the impact of Facebook apps on online traffic

Omniture, a provider of online business optimisation software, announced App Measurement for Facebook, a new application that enables Omniture SiteCatalyst customers to measure the popularity and success of Facebook applications.

According to the company, Omniture SiteCatalyst with App Measurement system enables users to measure the correlation between Facebook, site traffic and other online channels. It also helps marketers to better understand Facebook users and their engagement with applications.

Omniture SiteCatalyst is part of the Omniture Online Marketing Suite which claims to provide marketers with real-time intelligence about online strategies and marketing initiatives.
