Harris has announced that Intelligent Media, a deployer and operator of digital signage screen networks, has installed large-scale Harris InfoCaster systems in Greece.

According to Harris, a key component of its Digital Signage, InfoCaster offers a suite of products for creating, scheduling, distributing, playing and reporting live video and graphics. Users can acquire or create digital content and manage it throughout the entire delivery chain, from a central site or multiple remote locations, on a TCP/IP network.

Georgios Tsintzilonis, general manager of Intelligent Media, said: "Using InfoCaster helped us to manage our networks, but it also allowed us to deploy more networks in less time. It was also cost-efficient in terms of management, as we would have needed a large number of additional operators to continue serving standalone screens in this number."

The sale was handled by Amy, a Harris dealer in Greece. Amy Digital Video, a department within Amy that specializes in digital video systems, provided the design and consultancy services for this installation. Amy Digital Video also handles the support and maintenance of this system, as well as other installations of the InfoCaster digital signage networks in Greece.
